These terms apply to this website and to every place booked on a route. By booking you accept them for everyone in your party.
Route descriptions, photographs and grading are ours; please do not copy them for commercial use. We keep the pages accurate, but ground conditions change faster than any page can.
A place is confirmed only when we write back to say so. Payment terms and cancellation are set out on the booking page.
Our certified ice guide, the frozen lake mapped and marked, shared safety equipment and the nights listed. Winter clothing, travel to the meeting point and insurance are yours to arrange.
Weather, ice thickness or the state of the group can force a guide to shorten or reroute a trip. That call rests with the guide.
Winter travel on frozen water carries risk no operator can remove. We are responsible for running the trip with reasonable care and skill, not for loss caused by conditions outside our control.
